Greg James Thomson is a Canadian photographer who posseses a unique style and flair, specializing in landscapes. His aim as a photographic artist is to capture images that reflect the elements of nature and encouage people to explore and preserve the beautiful world around us. He believes that every picture should not only tell a story, but also have a story.
An Orillia resident since 1970, Greg graduated from Park Street Collegiate in 1984 and Georgian College in 1989. In 2013 Greg bought a DSLR camera for work, and soon after the love affair with capuring images began. In 2016 Greg moved from Muskoka back to Orillia to pursue his dream of being a professional photographer. His GJT Imagery studio opened in October 2016 and is based out of Suite 204 in the Downtown Orillia Arts District, a space he shares with Orillia artist Patti Agapi.
