Join artists Gary Blundell and Victoria Ward, in this talk about their exhibition. An Artist Talk is just that, an opportunity to hear an artist talk about their work. This Artist Talk will be a walk-about, a special guided tour by Gary and Victoria of their exhibition. Attending an Artist Talk is a fantastic way to learn about the context of an exhibition and gain a deeper level of understanding of the artwork.

Project Voyager is a mash up of a road trip, Champlain's touchdown in Orillia and the Apollo 11 moon landing by artists Gary Blundell and Victoria Ward, in an exploration of place and time.

In preparation for the exhibition, they did two things. First, they collected Victoria’s mementos of her family cottage and both of their childhood mementos of the moon landing. Second, followed the route that Champlain traveled in 1615 from the St. Lawrence River to Quebec City and then onward to Orillia.

$5 for members, $10 for non-members
