Congratulations for the 2017 Bayne/Jenkins Croquet Tournament!

This year's Bruce Bayne/Don Jenkins Invitational Croquet Tournament, held on September 16th, was a great success, raising over $2900 for the Orillia Museum of Art & History (OMAH).  There were many new teams this year, including teams sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Orillia, Orillia Lion's Club, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Congratulations to the 2017 champion, Al Parkes, playing for Team Bayne!
This year, the tournament was held at Couchiching Beach Park, generously donated to OMAH by the City of Orillia.  The tournament is sponsored by The Late Honourable Justice "Mac" Carter and named in honour of Bruce Bayne, who worked for the City of Orillia for 35 years and Don Jenkins, who was a valued member of city council. Bruce and Don were avid croquet players and this tournament honours their friendship, their love of Orillia and their commitment to OMAH, the community's museum.
