Summer is just around the corner and OMAH is bustling with some new faces who we'd like to welcome to the team!

Hope McGilly - Registrar

We are very happy to welcome Hope to the OMAH team to help lead the way with our Collection. She has been settling in with us over the last few months and has dived right in to OMAH's vast collection. Hope has an undergraduate degree in anthropology and classics at McMaster University, attended the Collections, Conservation & Management program at Fleming College, as well as the Museum & Gallery Studies program at Georgian College. Through her studies she has also worked overseas in Pylos, Greece, Dublin, Ireland, and locally in Midhurst and Wasaga Beach. Needless to say, we are excited to have Hope join our team and continue to tell the stories of OMAH's Collection & Research Room.

Kirsten Meiszinger - Collections Assistant

Joining Hope in the Collection is our summer student Kirsten whose energy and enthusiasm for all things art and history makes every research project an adventure. Keep an eye out on our Twitter & Facebook page for Kirsten's "Archive Finds" throughout the summer.

Jessalyn Forsythe - Programs Assistant

Jessalyn is a familiar face to those who regularly attend our Family Fun Drop In activities in the Fall/Winter season, and we are so happy to have her on board for the summer instructing our Summer Art Camps!

Audrey Willsey - Curatorial Assistant

Back by popular demand, Audrey has returned to OMAH this summer stepping in to the world of exhibitions and curatorial assistance. She is already underway with working on our upcoming Carmichael Canadian Landscape Exhibition: Tradition Transformed (for which submissions are now open!).

Katie Manners - Visitor Experiences Assistant

Our newest member to the team, Katie is joing OMAH in a brand new position this summer assisting with our Visitor Experiences Desk, OMAH's recently renovated Gift Shop, along with many of our events. Stop by and say 'Hi' to Katie when you come in our doors or at the various festivals we will be attending this summer!

Stephanie Lamb - Events Associate

Stephanie was introduced to OMAH through an internship with Lakehead Orillia's Media Studies program and is staying with us this summer running events and assisting developing our digital media further. Be sure to check out OMAH's YouTube Channel for new videos this summer!
