The Spirit of Mariposa  is a 15 month exhibition at The Orillia Museum of Art & History in celebration of Orillia and Canada's 150th anniversary.

Launching on Saturday, October 1, with a special reception on Friday, October 14, The Spirit of Mariposa will run until December 31, 2017. There will be a series of community engagement programs in conjunction with the exhibit that will run throughout 2017.

The Carmichael Canadian Landscape Exhibition: Tradition Transformed was created in recognition of Group of Seven member, Franklin Carmichael, who was born in Orillia.

When Ninette moved to Orillia in 2013, she walked the trails of Grant’s Woods and opened herself to the restorative powers of nature.  It was her place to relax and rejuvenate.  She wanted to develop a project that would enable her to share these experiences with fellow artists and nature followers.
