The Lounge Gallery
Consistently drawn to light and colour and their effects on the landscape, Deb Grisé’s Where the Light Is documents her journey from contemporary impressionism into abstracted form. Her palette, restricted to only five colours: red, yellow, blue, white, and yellow ochre, allows her to shift to this stylistic technique seamlessly. Grisé is a self-taught artist and has been working with watercolours and oils over the past 20 years.
Making art every day, Deb Grisé’s vivid landscapes give viewers a sense of ‘being there before’, inspiring them to fill in the details with memories of their own experiences in these landscapes.
