It's time to kick off our Fall Family Fun Drop-In season!  In celebration of the Orillia Jazz Festival, our first session celebrates the art of jazz as well as local musicians "The Hungry Five"

Sunday October 15 - Jazz Hands

We will be making Jazz posters using paper collage techniques inspired by the art of Henri Matisse and Juan Gris. For this event we will also have The Hungry Five performing.

Music by The Hungry Five

The Hungry Five is a piano-bass-drums jazz trio from the muddy banks of Oro-Medonte's Bass Lake.  Bassist Rory Slater and drummer Tony Kaucharik have been performing together since their 1973 Fort William debut with only a single 41 year hiatus, which happened to be long enough for pianist Andrew Woodill to get born and stagnate into one of Orillia's equivocally mediocre jazz talents.
