Quarantour: Slow Art Day
Slow Art is a global movement that encourages the contemplative appreciation of art. Viewers take their time engaging with the works without feeling the need to rush to the next work of art.
This Saturday, April 10 at 11 am we combine our regularly scheduled Quarantour (a guided virtual tour through images of some of OMAH’s favourite artefacts) with Slow Art Day. In addition to the tour through our historical artefacts, we will look at the one of the art pieces in the tour through the Slow Art lens. Your guide will provide you with background and context on the artwork, followed by a break to absorb the piece with the time it deserves.
Join us this Saturday at 1pm. Call us at 705-326-2159 or click on the link below to book your spot on the tour and receive your Zoom link.
We hope to see you there!
