In a continued celebration of Canada and Orillia's 150th anniversary throughout 2017, the Orillia Museum of Art & History is proud to present a unique opportunity for you to own a piece of history. We are honoured to be working with local artist, Tony Bianco, who is a skilled painter and has created over 50 designs for the Royal Canadian Mint, making each coin a work of art. In addition to offering the Orillia 150 Commemorative Coin, art prints of Tony Bianco's full design with the embedded coin are also available.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that OMAH has received $12,050 from the Province of Ontario for a partnership and legacy project with The Couchiching Conservancy. This project will celebrate Orillia's 150th by bringing awareness to ecologically significant land in Orillia.
The Orillia Museum of Art & History’s (OMAH) Festival of Banners has become a unique project that celebrates public art and community spirit. Since its inception in 2007 by Leslie Fournier, the heart of the festival has always been to enhance and beautify the core of our city in the most creative and appealing way possible.

This class is geared for kids who love art! We will offer a variety of creative projects - from drawing to painting, printmaking to clay and sculptures with found objects. Participants will also have opportunities to make and create in the galleries at the Orillia Museum of Art & History.
