Festival of Banners 2016 is here! This year we celebrate Past, Present & Tomorrow in our community with banners lining the streets of Downtown Orillia. Explore the work by local artists with the following list of artists and banner locations. You can download your own copy of this list here.
With the school year coming to a close, many children are making plans to do what Canadian kids have done for decades - going to summer camp! At camp, they make new friends, learn new skills, build their confidence, and explore new interests. It's a quintessential Canadian rite of passage.
Sadly, there are too many children in our community whose families can't afford to send them to camp. That's where you can help:
On Friday, April 15, the Orillia Museum of Art & History was the place to be with the opening reception of Roger Kerslake: Potter, Artist, Teacher as well as the much anticipated 100x100 fundraiser.
The 100x100 event was inspired by OCAD University's 'Who Done it?' and became the brainchild of OMAH board member, Liz Kernaghan and our Executive Director, Ninette Gyorody who thought it would be a unique event for our community.
It’s the sweetest time of the year again! The Orillia Museum of Art & History is very excited to be involved for the third year with Ontario Lake Country's Tap Into Maple! Not only will OMAH have maple-themed Gift Shop items, but our Sunday Family Fun Drop In programming is about to get sugary sweet. Check out the schedule for our upcoming Drop In activities!
