Orillia Portraits Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in Orillia Portraits: The People Who Shaped Our City.

By making a submission you give the Orillia Museum of Art & History (OMAH) your irrevocable perpetual permission to disseminate, modify, and use your submission, in whole or in part, in all media now known or later developed, for standard museum purposes. This permission includes print publication, social media, web communications, promotions, fundraising, educational programming and exhibitions.  OMAH reserves the right to edit submissions for grammar, spelling or content. OMAH is under no obligation to keep, post, or use any submission.

When your submission is included on the online database, the post will be made available to the general public. The public may use and share your submission in various ways including via social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, all of which operate independently of OMAH (i.e., have their own policies and terms).

Your personal contact information will be not be given out or posted at any time.

If submitting an Orillia Portraits form focussing on someone who is still alive at the time of submission, please share these terms and conditions with them and obtain their agreement of the conditions them prior to submitting the document.   

You are solely responsible for your submission and any consequences of submitting it. OMAH shall not be responsible or liable for any breach of these terms and conditions by you, claims by a third party that your submission violates the third party's rights, or claims by you that a third party is misusing your submission.
